Week 3 is all about celebrating and re-connecting with Mali's friends. It has been a tough few weeks in isolation while having COVID and transitioning to homeschooling routine. So we started off with a picnic with Mali's school friends at the Quarantine Reserve on Sunday...
Then we went to our first Inner West Homeschool meet up at Federal Park Playground in Annandale. It was such a lovely day to run around and play outdoor. Mali also made a few new friends 😉
As for our homeschooling, this week Mali did a lot of learning from her Nanna's house while I was at work. They leant about how plant grow from seeds...Learning new vocabulary from weekly reading comprehension.
Continue her art work from last week, learning about Warm & Cool colour...
Paper Weaving from her painting.
This week Math, we continue to learn our Times table tips and tricks...
For History, Mali is researching a Great Explorer for her work sample. She decided that she wants to learn about a female explorer.
This week Science, we learnt about Earthquake.
We also managed to visit the biggest Japanese Bookstore in Sydney, Kinokuniya as part of our Outdoor learning this week. Mali was very impressed with their graphic novels or "Manga" which she enjoyed reading now 😂
That's it for this week. We are ending our week 3 homeschooling with a playdate with Eve at her house after school.
